Stockholm - Many people were reported injured when a passenger train hit a lorry at a crossing near Kristianstad in southern Sweden on Thursday.
"A lorry collided with the Kustpilen train at a crossing in Nosaby near Kristianstad. Two of the wagons have flipped over and we have received reports that there are many injured," Kristianstad police spokesperson Bo Widell said. Widell was unable to confirm media reports that at least one person had died in the accident. Other reports indicated that many people were stuck inside the train. |
