That way, I can work for 24-36 hours without being assleep ![]() But maybe my health isn't really good tought...hehe ![]() |

Mag...I'm the same way! I turned to something that is definitely NOT the way to go (that's done with now though), but there's all natural shit to turn to. The best, in my opinion, is "gurana" (sp?). Natural, but knocks your dick in the dirt when it comes to staying up! You won't be all wired, but you will DEFINITELY be awake! And you can get it @ any health shop!

Actually the best is to inject vitamin B-12 altho it is a very painful injection it does have better results than the capsules

The only thing vitamin B is good for is hangovers. B-12 is only good for a cold. Not worth the $ unless you drank too much or have the sniffles...trust me.

LOL I would have never used B12 for hangovers...hangovers need immediate results, and fatigue needs long term results. Seems to me this is a problem of needing a vacation more than anything...stress related and usually B12 does the trick when you can't take a good long vacation but need to recharge batteries...it has worked for me and my family ever since I can remember...but hey, am not a doctor...just sharing my experience.
For an immediate result on not falling asleep when am real tired a coke and an aspirin does the trick but it not too healthy if it happens often. my two cents ------------------ TeensCherry TGP Please come post your galleries |

Sounds like me mantique. I can sleep 14 hrs and feel the same as if I slept 4 hrs. I know Iron is part of the problem, but I am sure there is more to it than that.
Tit, That is me. Snoring, tossing and turning during the night. Any ideas on how to change that? Balljoints |

well, balljoints:
you might start slow with some warm milk before bed. it tastes better if you put a little vanilla and honey in it. for the snoring, you could try those snore strips and humidifiers. then you work up to new-agey stuff like chamomile or melatonin. then you might try an ear, nose and throat doctor or whoever it would be to see if you got bad adnoids or something goofy with your breathing apparatus. hopefully you do not need to see if you have sleep apnea. that's where your heart stops for a second or two while you're sleeping...eeks! try the warm milk, it has some magic that really works! ------------------ tit, A revolution in adult content: EROTICOPY Lookie Here no, look here! me!me! look at me! |

Warm milk. Yuck LOL Already have to drink whole milk instead of the 2% because of my daughter.
Have already tried melatonin. Even have a bottle sitting on the stand on the bed. Didnt work ![]() 1 thing I can say is my snoring got better when I stopped drinking heavy on working nights. But still get the snoring even with only 1-2 beers Gotta try the snoring strips I guess. I snore the significant other out of bed most nights ![]() Balljoints |

Vitamins won't help much in this case. And definetely stay away coca-cola, pepsi - this shit is killing ppl.
You should go see some doctor - some some chinese or preferably Tibetan - they know MUCH more than normal doctors. The way you describe it, it seens that you got som serious problems with energy flow in the body. Like one kind of energy (cold) could be too active - while another (hot) doesnt flow at all. Try stop eating pork and cow meat (dont know the english word for that one) - compensate with fish, poultry, cheese - you will feel much better. I had similar problems too. And if don't take care of it - its going to get worse. I start feeling better after following all the recomendation of a Tibetan doctor. BTW - try not to sleep during the day - best time for rest is: 10 PM to 7 AM ------------------ 181st TGP *ICQ* 30144710 [This message has been edited by DarkJedi (edited 07-08-2001).] |

ice cold whole milk - lots of it - i go through about 4 litres a day if i'm on the computer.
Try and work near an open window too - it gives you something outside your usual focusing range (the monitor) to exercise your eyes with and fresh air instead of hot pc fumes! |

first of all, my iron is perfect... I donate blood sometimes, they do a test... your blood should be falling to the bottom of the can within 10 secs.. mine does it in 2-3 secs
hehe..yeah, naps are ok, but the probs with it is this: if I work say from 10-2, then take a nap, I lost my momentum and it takes a while to get back into it, hence the loss of productivity ![]() big fat ones do help sleep, but the probs with it is they DO MAKE YOU SLEEP LONG lol... oh, and my sleep is deep... and undisturbed... I only snore when WAY TOO TIRED, or if drunk and the likes.... normally when I sleep, nothing wakes me up. I wish I knew a tibetan dude but I sdon't hehe..really, I'm just looking for some kind of vitamin or stuff like that.. nothing that will keep you awake unnaturally... I just wanna be awake normally ![]() and as far as drinking coffee, I'm immuned :P I could sleep on 4 cups of coffee... just makes my limbs shake ![]() |

If I were you I'd talk to a doctor and a diatitian. Vitamins are good as long as you do not OD them. Also, drink a lot of water -- water, not Coke. You should drink at least 9 glasses per day. Don't drink them in one gulp, that might result in severe side effects that could lead to death. Yes, water can kill you :-) In the beginning you'll have to take frequent trips to the bathroom but your body will adjust in a couple of days.

Your problem is VERY simple. You're working 12-2am, and sleeping during the bad hours. Reverse, work from 9am to 9pm, go sleep at 10pm. During the day, go out, run, make some sports. Never wake-up after 9am... even if you only was able to sleep 6hrs. Go to the best at 9pm the next night and in 2-3 weeks you'll feel way better. You NEED to sleep before minight, it's extremely important. Don't forget to always go to sleep and wake up at the same hours everydays... go out and move you lazy ass... your body needs it.

Ok I feel like I need to contribute to this because as a young person I've had my fair share of fatigue and health problems.
One of the most common causes of fatigue (ie: you are tired all the time) is allergies. Most people think that allergies = sniffling, sneezing, coughing, etc... BUT that's just only one aspect of allergies. Do you have any pets that have fur? (cats are the worst) Do you have carpet or a lot of things that collect dust (ie: old furniture, bedding, clothes, etc.) You could be tired because of something blooming in your neighborhood, or it could be as simple as a food allergy. The longer you are exposed to something, the more likely you are to going to become allergic to it. For example if you drink a gallon of milk a day -- it's very possible that over time you will become allergic to milk and when you drink it you may become tired or break out with pimples or get headaches, etc. Most people don't make the connection, "gee I have a headache -- maybe it's all the milk I'm drinking..." -- but listen to your body and pay attention to when you get tired if it's not all day, every day. Try to vary your diet every day as much as possible. Try going to a doctor that can test you for allergies and/or food allergies. I would recommend changing your environment for a week -- stay at a friend's house -- or go on a trip. Eat different foods -- keep switching the variables until you find out what is making you sleepy. Food products that are very likely to cause fatigue (ie: make you tired): sugar, dairy products, anything w/ yeast Also computers in general put a real strain on your body -- sitting in one place for so long can really fuck you up. I find that swimming is the most energizing and helps prevent carpal tunnel problems -- a few laps and I'm energized for hours... Also sex will make you tired ehehe... cigarettes, beer, sugar, caffine... all the cool shit eventually lowers your natural energy levels. Magnatique-
Try adding breads and cheeses more to your diet with fruit and fresh seafood. Both are excellent sources of Vitamin B6 and B12. Aslo take a B-complex vitamin which has all the B vitamins including pantothenic acid (which used to be called B5). All these are a great natural and healthy way to boost enrgy levels for long term effects. Also try Bee Pollen which can be found in most stores that sell health supplements....all this works great for me.....Try it! ------------------ Dank Photo Content Provider Fired By Boneprone Family |

LOL, I feel like I'm targetted as the ennemy here, all you people say things I shouldn't do, which are all I do hehe
![]() yeah, I think I'll try 'n get those bed hours lowered when I'm working... just that I prefer night, I'm a night bird ![]() and about the allergies, perhaps... I mean' I was away for a month accross canada in a trip with my girlfriend, and believe me, she was waking me up early, going to bed late, climbing, hiking, and all that shit all the time... plus she'd tire me up even more afterwards.... but I felt less tired hehe ![]() it's probably just accumulated sleep... I told myself that this week I'd try going to bed before midnight, and sleeping as much as I can to give me some boost ![]() I sort of have an indication when I'm too tired for a few days... my left eye lid starts twitching by itself.... annoying hehe ![]() |

really the only thing that will pick you up is exercise...develop a routine that you can do during the day (mornings and afternoon) or look into something like qigong or tai chi simple and effective.....diet and potential allergies can be the cause as well.
