Those brainwashed "reporters" have failed the public again. There are now 1,026 US dead in Iraq. The numbers the media posts leave out those "Killed but Unidentified Pending Notification of Kin". Here's the numbers:

These numbers do not take into account so-called "contractors" or mercenaries. I'm fairly sure they fail to take into account non-citizems that are in the Armed Forces to speed the process of attaining citizenship. (ironic: once one of these non-citizens dies in Iraq they are posthumously granted citizenship).

What really miffs me is the 1000th servicemember to die in Iraq was on the eve of the RNC, not a single story about that, no mention of the numbers of servicemembers maimed over in Iraq since that number is just obscene from some estimates I've heard, and George Bush hasn't attended ONE military funeral at Arlington National.

That 1000 will be a drop in the bucket compared to the coming years.

250,000 times the amount of radioactive material as was released at hiroshima is currently swirling in dust clouds over the sands of iraq. Birth defects went from 11 per 1000 in 1989, to 116(!) per 1000 in 2001. Radioactivity will have certainly increased by then, thanks to bunker busters and other DU and NDU weaponry.

... and there's 130,000 or so of your relatives, friends and neighbors living in that radioactive dust bowl today. Some of them for over a year. I suspect a lot more than 1000 are dead. They just don't know it yet... but they will, and probably pretty soon.

Exercise for the audience: What happens when you need new people to replace all the ones dropping like flies due to cancer and other "Gulf War Syndrome Redux" symptoms?

Yes...they do not matter...but the kill ratio is normally approximately 100 to 1 when US forces engage an enemy but can often go much higher. In the 1st Gulf war...estimates of enemy killed range from 100,000 to 300,000 compared to combat losses for the US forces of something over a 100. In Vietnam US KIA's were approximately 60,000 and estimated Vietnamese losses are estimated as high as 3,000,000.
