Selling traffic - GoFuckYourself.com

Probably a dumb question but I can't help it...

Why are some people/companies selling traffic? If they had real quality traffic, wouldn't they be much better off redirecting it to some of the well-converting sites available? And with this in mind, when you buy traffic isn't all you get just some popup popunder blind and whatever crappy traffic? Just wondering...

Some people are good at converting traffic,
Less people are good at both.

Plus the fact that by selling traffic, people have more control over how much profit they make. Where as sending traffic to a sponsor can be hit and miss.

your right..
as well people with TONS of tarffic dont have a lot quality..
they just sell it and make nice bank!

I sell traffic, but I also send it to sponsors as well. It's hard to keep up with what's converting and what's hot though.

I am happy with selling it, even though I know I've got some of the highest quality traffic around. My clicked niche traffic is all english speaking visitors, has cookies enabled, it's mostly US traffic, and has j a v a s c r i p t on, but I am happy with getting paid instantly for it and I don't have to worry about converting it, that's my customer's job.

We sell it, send it to Sponsors and send it to our paysites.
It works well for us.
