What a lucky asshole!

Walked outside, and there's the police helo's flying around with spotlight and all. Then this cop pulls over this guy right in front of us. Cop get's out of his car and walks up to the window, 10 seconds latter the cop RUNS to his car, pulls a quick uturn like 0-30 in 3 seconds. And leaves the guy just sitting in his car.

Neighbors were yelling, "Dude, you're lucky, get the fuck out of here!"

Now if only the cops let me go like tha before.

That's actually happened to me before. The cop got the call right when he got to my window and my license was suspended so I was sweating it.

Some code came over his shoulder radio, and he said it was my lucky day, there was someone more important to catch and to slow down.

He walked back to his car and peeled out

I got a better one.

My first Beemer I bought was a beast. I was (thinks) 23 at the time, and picked it up on my lunch break from work.

That evening I was driving down the motorway to my gf's house when this Sierra Cosworth sits on my ass, so I pull over and notice it's a woman driving with a guy shotgun, so being the idiot I was at the time, I gunned it and rode his ass at 120+ for about 1/4 mile.

Then this gold colored car comes up behind me and flashes his lights, so I think "oh he wants a go" and peels off after the Cossy.

I slow right down as I see the little LED sign wirrr up in the back window and out come the lights. He pulls over the Cosworth and flags me down as I pass him.

The girl is in the back of the cop car and is crying. I'm sat on the crash barrier when she comes out and says to me "He wants to speak to you".

I sit in the back seat, knowing I'm going to lose my licence, but the cop turns around to me and says "You were a little too close to that car in front. Keep your distance, okay?"

I agree and tell him I'll keep my distance, get out and drive off. Stop around the corner to call my buddy and tell him the story.

About an hour later we're both going the other way on the same motorway and we see a towtruck towing the Cosworth away

Oh yeah, nevermind. I forgot you don't have the same shit over there.
Cosworth = killer fucking cars.

Basically regular fords with massive HP and racing quality. Old WRC cars were 'Escort Cosworth' and so forth..

My uncle was a finnish importer of Ford quite 2 decades ago. He had a RS500

This has actually happened to me twice. First time, a call came in on the radio. Cop said it was my lucky night and to slow down. (I was pulled over for 75mph in a 50mph zone)

Second time, pulled over for racing, and when the cop was checking all my info, a lady ran up and said another lady was being attacked by a group of guys about 2 blocks away. The cops hurried off.

True story from 92 Spring Break - Daytona Beach

It was about noon and I had just left the bar at the Marriot on the beach after drinking a couple of yards of beer. Got in my car, drunk as hell and headed down the beach. Didnt get far and saw the lights in the rear view. Pulled over and knew I was going to jail. Cop comes up to my window and says youre going a little fast arent ya. Speed limit is 15 I think. I said yes, and he said can I see ur license and registration etc. As I was pulling them out he gets a call on the radio. He says just slow it down and be careful. If youve been to DB on spring break you know what hard asses the beach cops are there. I was shitting bricks and drove to the Hilton doing about 5 the whole way lol
