WebCam Reccomendations? - GoFuckYourself.com

A friend of mine is looking to get herself on cam to make some extra money, but she (and I for that matter) have no idea on what webcam to buy.

Originally I suggested a decent quality camcorder with a remote and a capture card, but this is out of her price range.

Any ideas?

Capture card (osprey) and a hi 8 camcorder (they are cheap). May set her back 400.00 total if everything is new.

Don't Osprey's suffer from lots of dropped frames? Just something I've heard from people who've tried to use them in MCE boxes.

But speaking of video capture, this is what I've got my eye on for business and personal stuff:

Never had an issue with dropped frames. Not sure about in MCE boxes though.
