				 | That happened to me in 1986 but I never thought it was connected to loud music, although at the time I was going to weekly concerts that were pretty high volume. A pneumothorax isn't a pleasant thing to treat, either, especially after happening to me a second time. (twice in the same year, never since) |

				 | In my life I have been to way too many clubs , and I am very hard of hearing.  People can be standing right next to me talking at a normal level, and I will have no idea what they are saying.  I talk very loud because I can't hear very well, I hate it.  Now I try and wear ear plugs when I go out to save whatever hearing I have left.  But they always fall out. I used to stand by the speakers too, and you can feel it in your body it's almost like your heart starts beating to the music. |
