all these 3d text remind me of the old days of creating 3d text with Xara3D... no offense dudes but it kinda has a cheap (and not in a good way) look.

i hope this contest won't end up like one of those i've seen in the past where it just gets to some point and then it stops, no decision is made, ever... with unclear deadlines, it usually goes that way and i hate to see so much talent going down the drain... sigh :(

i must say i agree with lukapensa, in my oppinion the designer who wanted to enter this contest allready did - so basically this 25 approved entries rule, means that this logo contest could be at a standstill for ages, until maybe some designer decides to give it a go.

- but i hope you prove us wrong, but the history of logo contests on gfy makes us somewhat suspicious i guess.

I don't get it, Dave's work... or should I say his designer's work... there are just a few pictures pasted over with a standard font which does not blend good with the background, is it just me or does this work isn't that special?

Nice idea but poor implementation.

Try and use our current Videopass.com "star" that is in the "O" of videopass.

We would like to brand that star.

This will not make or break the winner but,it will help.

I don't care to win, I just like to participate for fun, and If I did, I would give my designer a couple hundred bucks and the rest to charity or something.

But, you guys need to understand something about designers...and I am sure all designers will know what I am talking about.

They are the Creative ones here, it's not just doing the work, its coming up with the Creativity.

That's what they get paid for most, the creativity. Yes, everyone here does great work and I wish he can pay everyone the 500 bucks, but my designer just came up with the idea for fun that's all.

i know it sounds stupid, but creativity is the first thing that makes a designer a good designer... but with that you must add some skills... a good idea looks good when you design it properly, when you are able to show it off in the most eye-catching way.

i just said what i think about that work regarding the eye-catching issue. :)

and to marty... that O star is a helpful tip :) i'll try to do some more stuff.
