ok, here's my try... i noticed i didn't enter any competition on gfy for over few months, so it's time for a comeback? :Graucho

anyway, one of the rare few entries in this contest (judging by what i see here) in vector format, so you can scale the logo up/down, apply it to any material (including t-shirts, etc) and even make a billboard out of it... and yes, i even have a good idea how to animate it (if required, ever)...

I use MAYA, 3DSTUDIO, and about 3 other 3D based programs.
This exercise was done with an older modeler that is not available anymore.

It was called RayDream Studio.
This clip I wanted to beat up with After Effects but I been on it all day and decided to wrap the animation up with some quick crossfades.:glugglug
