Best city to live in arizona?

I've seen nice big houses 5 bedroom 3 bathrooms 3000k+ square feet for like $300k in phoenix.
Anyone recommend good areas?

Houses are dirt cheap in Phoenix. I have a modest 2600sq ft five bedroom house with a pool for $240k.

Phoenix has some real nice areas, but some really bad areas too.

And it gets really hot here in the summer. Really hot.

I should make a video of me cooking an egg on pavement some time.

Hit me up on ICQ if you have questions.

I think the forecasted high is only 99 this weekend.

First time it has been under triple digits in 2 months.

yep, it's hot but it's home!

i would say the really nice areas are Paradise Valley if you want "older" kinda nice

or North Scottsdale (where we are) above the 101... our house is listed at $480,000 when appraised two months ago

Quickest bang for your buck on resale right now is as close to the Chandler Mall as you can get with new construction.

Some friends of my wife recently moved there - bought a 4 bed house, with pool, on an acre of land for less than $200,000

only place I've lived in AZ was Tucson...I prefer it as it's generally a few degrees cooler than the Phx area...

nice up in the foothills area at the base of the Catalina Mt range....Mt Lemon is a nice 9k peak for those wicked hot summer days...a 45min drive gets you 10-15 degrees cooler up there, and sometimes snow/skiiing in the winter...

drive to Phx for biz? no problem that was only an 1 1/2 drive...

oh and cleaner air....I'm old and spoiled I don't do smog anymore, I grew up in LA for 18 years...my tolerance level for smog is pretty much zero now....

Please take note the next time that the number of automobiles in the entire Phoenix metro area does not equal the number of automobiles stuck between Whilshire and LAX on the average weekday afternoon.

If you have the $$$ move to North Scottsdale with Easton. It's the nicest area by far. Lots of hot milfs there too.

I live in tempe and there is no way you will find a 1 acre lot with 4 bedrooms for 200k unless it is actually 2 double wides parked in the wal-mart parking lot. Shitty 3 bedroom houses are selling for 170k minimum. My 1 br. condo is $110k.
