LegendaryLars cobranding

Hello,

I was just wondering, I created my first co-branded site @ Lars and don't know what to do, lol. I want to use my own hosting (my domain name in name.steamray.com was taken already). So I "created" the site in Lars, now what do I switch the domain's DNS to?

From Lars:

"DNS Configuration
If we ARE hosting your DNS then read this!
You may have to wait up to 3 business days for the DNS entry to be made and propagated.
If we are NOT hosting your DNS site then read this!
The information highlighted in yellow below must be inserted into the DNS TABLES for yoursubdomainname.yourDomainName.com before your site can become active.

This information must be added to the DNS configuration table for your domain exactly as it appears below. This includes the period at the very end of the line.
yoursubdomainname IN CNAME partners.streamray.com.
Example: amateurs.cumtv.com
DNS: amateurs IN CNAME partners.streamray.com. "

Thanks!
-S

But I selected "use your own DNS" or whatever. I don't know what to set my domain's DNS to or what subdomain I get.

*confused*

DNS: amateurs IN CNAME partners.streamray.com.

Ok so basically if you want www.yourname.com to point to the cams or you want livecams.yourname.com or whatever you have to add a cname to your dns on your dns server..

so if ya want livecams.yourdomain.com you ahve to add

livecams IN CNAME partners.streamray.com.

to your dns including the period.

you may also just create a A record and point the dns at partners.streamray.com takes about 24 hours for it to totally propogate. and we update our co brand build once per day.. except on weekends. the time of day is whenever the guy who does that changes out our dns. I hope that answes the question.
