Hi Folks,

The new YNOTRADIO offices are in a mandatory evacuation zone. Our office building is also killing our T1 and Phones as of 5pm tonight and will not come back up until all is safe.

So we ask your pardon on our station going dark, but we have no real choice in the matter.

So we are headed for shelter now and will try and give you guys an update as soon as possible.

Thanks guys! We appreciate the thoughts.

We got the YNOT RADIO studio wrapped up to protect the gear and as much electrical as high and off the ground as the building sits almost directly on the intracoastal. Which normally is a cool thing!

However, storm surge is the concern if we see a direct hit. As we would indeed flood.

So we're keeping our fingers crossed.

We were up until 4am yesterday on the phone calling every major hotel chain to find any rooms anywhere and that was a lost cause.

We have since evacuated to the wonderful Villa de' CyberCat!

Can I say that Mark and Parney are the most wonderful hosts and very gracious in harboring us evacuees!

I of course of become obsessed with tracking this bastard and began doing the math on the leading edge traveling from the Bahamas to us and its projected time to onset here!

The ole Guru prediction...Leading edge crossing Ft. Lauderdale at 5am EST.
Yea. NOT!

Anyway, off to get some rest and enjoy the calm before the storm!

Thanks again guys for all of your well wishes and we'll keep you guys updated and YNOT RADIO will get back on the air once we get the all-clear!

I have a gallery server on a 100mbit line with shoutcast on it... I know you don't usually shoutcast your shows, but I'd be willing to let you use it to do a show, if that would help at all.

Sleazy, yeah we are over in the Guest House! I went with CyberCat yesterday to pick up his new Diesel Generator...so worst case scenario...the main house will have electric.

Anyway, looks like my estimates were off. She slowed from a 13 mph trek to 9 mph.

I just awoke to a beautiful sky with the sun in my eyes.

May I say, what a wierd ominouos feeling. To be typing with a glare in my eyes, yet seeing the radar loop and knowing that bitch is still sitting there just off the S. Fla coast. hehehehe

Well, anyway...today is the day! We're gonna kick back and relax as the craziness gets under-way!
