I need to resize some pictures with Irfanview
How the fuck does that work? Can somebody give me a hand please?
Or which programm is best for picture resizing? Thanks already!

![]() I use paint shop pro 8. You click the "resize" icon, set your parameters, click okay, then hit "sharpen".... then save-as, set your compression ratio (if it's a jpeg) and then OK. Don't know why it's such a mystery with other programs, it's pretty straightforward with psp and photoshop.

![]() Don't understand the hazzle with other programs either... well I do it with ps normally, but now since I got a bunch of partycontent I prefer resizing with a batch routine...I heard Irfan does that...any hints?

Click Image > Resize/Resample, set width/height or choose a percentage (above 100 to make bigger, below 100 to make smaller), click Preserve aspect ratio if you don't want the pic to be distorted. Then click File > Save as
