:stop I'm calling bullshit on Lykos' mom's death

Several things lead me to believe this.

1. Who the fuck would post on GFY about it, repeatedly. First thing on my mind when my mom dies is to seek closure amongst those that I love and who love me. Not GFY.

2. He still keep on posting on GFY, even at this time, a day after his mom's alleged death. Isn't there family to be with?

3. He's been spamming his shit on GFY for quite a while now.

4. A funeral one day after a person's death? I may be way off, but doesn't it usually take some time to arrange the whole ceremony?

Agree or disagree with me, but I call the bluff. Attention seeking whore.

I'd post on GFY if my mom would die.
I posted on oprano when my mom had a stroke earlier this year before I went over to her place to look after her pets while she was in intensive care.

Even if I would have such thoughts in my mind (and I didn't and don't) I wouldn't post them on gfy for the chance of being wrong.

stfu, I've seen friends buried within 36 hours of death.. but it does normally seem to take 48 hours - 2 weeks.

This has to be the coldest, most heartless bunch of fuckrtards I have ever met. Why don't you ask him to post a copy of the death ccertificate?

If he was lying, that is something he''l have to deal with on his own. Unless there is conclusive proof to the contrary, it is just WRONG to make accusations like this.

Depending on the country/financial situation/family - you don't have to have visitation, you don't have to have an autopsy (if they knew she had a disease & there wasn't anything mysterious about her death), if you have no family there is no need to prolong it.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken *and Jewish folk can confirm* don't you have to bury the dead by the next day? My ex-boss' father passed he was buried the next day - shiva took place for the entire week after that.

Not defending him nor condemning him, but here's my take on things.

When my grandmother passed away, there was no autopsy. Because she had the foresight to pre-plan everything, her body was cremated the same day. (She died at 3.40 am CDT, her cremation took place that afternoon.)

The ashes were on display during her funeral, (which I couldn't be there for, sadly, and a fact that to this day I beat myself up over), and interred the morning of the 22nd - 2 days after her death.

So yes, if everything has been taken care of in advance, (often happens when a family member is diagnosed with a terminal illness), and no autopsy is required, a person can be buried the day following their death.

As for coming to the message boards, perhaps that is his outlet. Seems to me I got a lot of flack for being on GFY three days after surgery.

Sorry, but this IS GFY. Seems as though some folks are out to persecute others. Happens all the time. I've gotten it, others have gotten it, and yet it seems that we're all surprised and angry when karma comes back to bite us in the ass.

All of that being said, I hope he isn't lying to us all. If he is, then I hope karma not only bites him in the ass, but takes pictures and posts them to newsgroups for fun.

What!? A funeral after one day is just not possible.

Unless he did the embalming himself during the night then prepared a celebration is his backyard the next day.
