Not defending him nor condemning him, but here's my take on things.
When my grandmother passed away, there was no autopsy. Because she had the foresight to pre-plan everything, her body was cremated the same day. (She died at 3.40 am CDT, her cremation took place that afternoon.)
The ashes were on display during her funeral, (which I couldn't be there for, sadly, and a fact that to this day I beat myself up over), and interred the morning of the 22nd - 2 days after her death.
So yes, if everything has been taken care of in advance, (often happens when a family member is diagnosed with a terminal illness), and no autopsy is required, a person can be buried the day following their death.
As for coming to the message boards, perhaps that is his outlet. Seems to me I got a lot of flack for being on GFY three days after surgery.
Sorry, but this IS GFY. Seems as though some folks are out to persecute others. Happens all the time. I've gotten it, others have gotten it, and yet it seems that we're all surprised and angry when karma comes back to bite us in the ass.
All of that being said, I hope he isn't lying to us all. If he is, then I hope karma not only bites him in the ass, but takes pictures and posts them to newsgroups for fun.
