SEO / PR question.

Not asking for tips, just insight. I'll explain.

this tool/site was posted earlier in another thread:

Google PageRank Report
http://www.top25web.com/pagerank.php

I own lots of domains (5000+), 95% are active, so I started running lists of 25 domains (with www):

and I found lots of 0/10s, but to my surprise I found several 5/10s and a 6/10 that I wasn't aware of. is the site buggy/accurate? has anyone else used it?

I don't know if that site is buggy.

But I do know I can have a site with PR0 and later find some stupid page that I forgot about on the site having a PR5 or something.

Seems pretty accurate so far. You can verify this yourself with the google toolbar on even an INACTIVE url, just be sure you enter the entire url in IE for example like; http://www.domain.com

I even have some 0/10's that get top 10 rankings for solid keywords, so not sure how much PR plays in actual rankings but it's good for passing PR along anyway.

very interesting. thanks. having too much fun running my list thru this this tool. found another pr6 on a (i thought it was worthless) domain. will take advice. are there other tools that let you run more than 25 at a time? like 100? or should I just get a techie to make one?

yeah, insane.

my girlfriend always reminds me. she always points out that I could've bought her a big diamond instead. I told her "my domains are an investment for the future"... and that didn't go over too well.

I remember seeing a tool that was for sale, that lets you search 100+ domains at the same time. I've lost the url though.

A PR6 domain could still be worthless.

I could modify a script I have to run through 1000s of domains.

ICQ me 129060301 or email [email protected]

I have a tool that checks PR on countless number of domains at once. if you want I can run your list of 5k domains. It won't take me more than 15 minutes. let me know on [email protected] or over icq# 38180670

If you dig google a bit, you can find one totally free, even with the source code of the software in VB ;)

You can check up to 2M domains daily ;)

You get a txt file with all the results , and the PR value, and its totally accurate ;)

yes, "barely" still with me. even though I meant for "our future", she never lets me forget how I worded it. I might give her a domain for her birthday to smooth things over. j/k

man, make that decision based on traffic. Regardless of PR, its traffic that makes money.

send me a list of domains you're letting go. If I find some I like, I'll buy them off you in bulk, even if they're trash in your eyes... I don't live & die by PR or PPC. seriously. email is in sig.

For all those n00bs I have a good one for sale.$400
This tool lets you load from a file and save it to a file
It can query ggogle from proxies or straight.(Google frowns on automated querying and luvs to ban ips).
This tool can also query the google tool bar with www prefix or without.(another important consideration as often the pr is different). It will also sort them into pr order for you.
If interested see sig for contact address.
