Bump for a good product...

I use it on a couple sites and it works well if youwant to just toss up either a quickie or full on self managed TGP... Only thing I would ask personally is a smaller % and I would prob convert my others also...

I like the idea of a built in trade script too, we are gonna do something like that for our members...

We also have sponsors now, that are building custom galleries just for use within the www.remotethumbs.com system.

we offer a lower skim for people that are pushing sizable traffic...

the trade script is coming, we are working out a way to make it so you can only trade with other tgp's using our system...

and newbreed, sorry but I never got that icq, sometimes the icq gremlins do weird shit I guess.

If it's a big deal then don't worry about it... I already have the server version of Comus and don't plan on switching. I just wanted to check it out and see if there's any benefit to implementing it as well and maybe somehow complementing each other.

set up some new ones on www.remotethumbs.com and see how they compare, we have had several people with exsisting and similiar situations do this, and they were quite pleased....

ok i am going to list some of the features comus has that we already have:

Run both thumbnail and Text listings on the same page.

Easy trade script support

Option to have separate trade settings for thumbs or text links

Can have site update on its own every day

Display mixed galleries or separated categories

Built in template based website builder allows unlimited options for category and archive pages.

Thumbs can be any size and dimensions. rectangles or squares, tall or wide (this one we don´t have but it is not too necessary due to trade thumb standards but if you need it let us know)

although we are not a tradescript we will come up with our own solution but as of now there are 3rd party tradescripts that do all this that can be used with RT

Hitbot Detection and Hitbot Protection, stops you from being cheated.
Niche filtering, for higher productivty and better conversion ratios, allows you to redirect incoming traffic to its niche page.
Niche Targetting, for better traffic trading, means you grow faster, by matching outgoing traffic trades to the niche of the link or thumb clicked.
Dynamic Skimming, allows you to cream the traffic, and make more money, by setting different skim ratios for yourself, partner submitters and others.
Gallery Rotation, means less work for you, and allows you to take full advantage of your personal custom galleries, by just setting it up and forgetting about it.
Banner Rotation, allows you to profit and target your offerings, and match them to the niche of the surfer.
Auto Thumbnailing and Digital Filtering, less work, better quality, more bookmarkers.
Automatic Thumb Rating and Click Tracking, for better productivity.
Total Layout controls with built in query language, means any layout rules you can imagine, this script can handle.

the other features are not relevant at this point because we do not take submissions from other webmasters. we may develop a submission part but again why risk having cheaters when you can have content with sponsor galleries that make you money. the amount of traffic a gallery may bring a tgp is not big enough to justify all the headaches it may give.

we have talked about this with several of our high profile tgp custumers and between partners and we have reached the conclusion that unless you have a 100k tgp or several tgps that amount to at least 100k a day this is not a viable option.

we are actually helping the gallery builders graduate in to their own traffic sources, and still have access to a good marketplace, this enables them to actually make not only a commission from there work but be the owner of there work, and reap all the rewards....

if you can build 20 galleries a day, you could build 20 tgp's of your own a day with www.remotethumbs.com and littereally build your own recurring traffic, and still get the same benifites....
