I just installed it yesterday and now I can't get my FTP programs to work....

you could always goto
start > program > accessories > system tools > system restore and go back to a previous date, right?

1st : if something works why fix it
2nd : it was WROTE on m$ website that cuteftp and couple other ftp programs won't work with SP2 .
