What's a cart like that run in US$. We've got a cart track about 15 minutes from my house. I want to race something and the nearest sportbike track is quite a bit more of a drive.

Cool, how much is that cart? I have a friend that races those things pro... well actually I think he might have stepped it up by now. He races for Paul Tracy, Paul and his father were good friends. Paul started teaching him at a young age. My friends dad was his mechanic.

But that shit's cool. I wish I had one of those. Instead I do motocross.. :D

That is PIMP..I used to race those back in the day.. The G-force leaves your hips brused and arms useless after a race. Pro race car drivers who have tried driving these have been known to say "no fucking way!" have fun man.. these rock.

Get the best helmet and a neck brace you can buy.. my 2 cents

I used to race lay down enduro karts.. they are quite a bit different than the typical sit up kart you are looking at. as we raced the big tracks Such as Daytona speedway, Road Atlanta and so on..
I don't have any pictures of my kart online but this is pretty close to what I raced..

I still have it, but just haven't had the chance to race it in a few years. I'm hoping to race Daytona this year in Jan. Being I live here now it shouldn't be a big deal to make it

oh hey lost this post... the class I normally raced in was around 130mph to 140 mph around Daytona.. we ran the full road course just like the super bikes and the 24 hour cars.

twin engines are too much of a pane in the aruse getting them in sync and so on.. If I wanted to go faster I'd just set up a shifter enduro kart. I drove a 250 cc Rotax powered Kart at a track called Robleing Road in Georgia (where I won a National WKA race ) I didn't know for sure how fast it topped out at but I'd say easily 150mph down the front straightway.. At Daytona or a bigger track I don't see why the 250 cc enduros couldn't get up into the 160mph -170mph range.. but that's just guessing the top speed.

The 250cc's are more than a death trap IMO but probably the closest thing you can get to power and weight ratio, and handling of a F-1 car.

The only thing I don't like about the kinda of karts you are looking at is you can't run full bodies on them. So wheel to wheel contact happens quite a bit and as a result it causes a lot of flips and so on, that with a full body protecting the tires wouldn't happen. However the types of tracks you run with those karts are much shorter so you probally never get above 50-60mph so it dosn't hurt as much to crash

the big front is becouse you are laying on your back, so that's where your legs and feet go. kinda the same concept as the single man bobsleds. You just can't see as much, hence the reason only real men drive them

You are right about the wheels. As far as speed, the top speed is around 120 KM/H so about 70-80 MPH

yea it really just depends on the size of the track you are running to how fast they will go.

True, the one here has some straight parts. But to be honest, I like the corners a lot more Especially when it's crowded, and you have to find the best line to pass one.

most of the tracks in the Netherlands only allow 4 strokes
and 4strokes are alot cheaper in maintenance

someone told me a 2 stroke 125cc manual cost about 100 euro per hour to drive
