car question: getting all coolant out of the car
I am just wondering if anyone knows how to get all the coolant out of the car. There is a drain plug but that just drains all the coolant thats inside the radiator, what about inside the engine? Should I run the car while the drain plug is opened to get it out? or what. Anyone know. Its a bit of topic.

drain is on the bottom of the radiator... open that and let it drain out... if you really need to flush the system, open the top hose that connects to radiator and flush water into it with a garden hose and let it drain from the bottom hose...
i recommend you take it and get it done outside, its like fifty bucks to flush the system... jiffy lube does it, if ou have a jiffy lube in ur area

you can get an insert that you splice into your heater core hose and attach a garden hose to. . . . do not run your engine with no water unless you want to trash it
