Domain - Please someone logically explain to me.
This came up in another thread, I am just very curious now.
www.prada.com What a total waste of a domain name. The overture results for just the word prada are mind blowing. I am sure it is registered to the company and all, but damn! do they like just throwing away money? Anyone care to give me a logical reason? Alexa is down for me, any traffic numbers besides what overture suggests for search terms. |

if it is owned by the company then i would say it might have something to do with a distributors agreement.
otherwise i would say the company doesnt own it and someone is just protecting themselves till they can get rid of it. |

if you spend some time on overture just typing in random adult-related keywords, you will be surprised at what comes up here and there.
i think something like "porn online stars diary" (or something to that effect....) came up when i searched for a specific keyword. its fucked up what people are searching for these days lol
