Are there any Domain Registration Services that give you an access log of the WHOIS service (similiar to the access_log of apache) ?

Most people don't go to each individual registrar's whois.

This is true. No matter what domain I am interested in checking out I almost always go to my own registar (Directnic) because if I am looking to buy and it comes up available all I have to do is click to add it to my cart. If I am just interested in finding out who owns it I already have the Directnic page handy.
