I just talked to Paul, a CCbill tech, and we think what happened was some of the accounts reverted to a default setting when 1000facials did an affiliate grouping this month. Reason is because we also found some accounts that were set to 1% payout rather than 50%. We are manually going through every account one by one today and making sure all are set at 50% and unlimited rebills.

Thanks Makingcoin, for bringing this to our attention.

I am sorry but these types of "glitches" piss me the fuck off. Zero personal accountability and always a pass the buck off to someone else.

Unless the default setting in the affiliate admin was initially set at zero rebills, and zero trials to rebill payouts, which by the way is not the ccbill default setting. I do not see how this could happen. The only way I can forsee this is if someone set up seperate groups with no rebills or a one percent setting. Then "accidently" moved selected webmasters into the group. Why such a group would exsist is beyond me, unless said group had a PPS setting which the screen captures do not show. So I question why this "default" group even exsists.

Naturally "manually checking" every single affiliate account to make sure they are set at 50% sounds like your correcting your "glitch". Although why not adjust your default group to the proper payout percentage and move all webmasters into it with just a few clicks, then move any special deal webmasters you may have at higher payouts back into their special group?
While at this damage control stage, will you also be making good to all of these webmasters? You know pulling out your own cash and sending each of them the correct percentage of money that would of occured based on your average trial to monthly, and average monthly retention?

Yes my pissed meter is full right now, and I am not one of your affiliates. I just hate seeing CCBill being drug through the mud all of the time when I use them as my primary. This type of shit gives them a bad reputation since many may just recall "glitch - shaving - CCbill" and for get the sponsor.

Merrioc is a good guy, though. I didn't know that he left.
Thanx Garce, yea I left about 3 months ago, I still help Andy and honey out now and again but I am pursuing other ventures with another company now so you'll see my name on another new program in about another month still putting it all together.

I can tell you with all honesty, while I was there, Andy was always very zealous about taking good care of his webmasters, one thing for people promoting that program, don't be afraid to ask andy/hone for things I know they love to strike deals and do specail things for many webmasters (2-3 custom shoots were done for jason at vidsvidsvids)

plus I know they have a few sites right around the corner.
Also if the guy was really an asshole would I be speaking nicely about him AFTER I left the company? Lord knows I don't want my job back I'm rather happy where I am and not looking to get my job back or anything.

hmm maybe your account was turned off cause you were one of the spammers we caught, I turned off a few CCbill ID's I found that were spamming.

Perhaps the best reply to this thread yet ....

More PPL need to wake the fuck up what is happening widespread in this industry ... and people need to start becoming accountable for thier own fuckups !!

I also personally know an ex-affiliate who had over 100 galleries hosted on their server (tgp.1000facials.com) who had every last one of his galleries redirected to thier 3 month/FREE DVD offer - WITHOUT his affiliate code !!! Needless to say he lost most of his partner accounts due to the redirecting.

I think this program is struggling to stay alive IMHO
thats account aka hungery man who's was posting picture gallery's and converting like crap because of his shitty designs. when the program moved servers his wasn't moved and the DVD page was the default error page (after they fixed the hack)

the animal farm sex thing you guys are talking about was a hack, someone (my speculation is the former hosting company) took and modified the httpd.conf file so that error pages of any kind went to that.

I'm gonna leave the rest of this to hone and the crew

it had nothing to do with error pages ..

it was the free hosted galleries that went to ANIMAL SEX FARM

It really does not matter to me now anyways, as I have removed them from my site.

I am *not* trying to pass the buck. I just started with this company and I am making an honest effort to get answers. I apologize if it is not coming across that way. I am not trying to drag CCbill through the mud either. CCbill is a wonderful company. If I am not mistaken, I was not the first one in this thread to use the words "glitch - shaving- CCbill". If you ask CCbill, I bet they will tell you that not all programs are 100% failproof in any business. Shit happens. And going through each account manually allows us to see which accounts have the incorrect settings so that we can form a course of action for *making good* to those webmasters. I understand the frustration that some people are feeling over this. And I am doing the best that I personally, as an employee of 1000facials, can do. If anyone has any other suggestions, hit me up on ICQ or email me. I am all ears.
