Explorers crap??
I really don't know how to interpret service bulletins but if you check out the Mercedes and BMW's they, on average, have at least one service bulletin per year but nothing "crazy", on the other hand the 2004 ford exploder has 41 service bulletins (in 2004 alone) and what I'd call serious shit:
2004 explorer (41 nice some are freaky) http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/pr...sb/results.cfm 2004 sclass (1 bullitian) 2004 c class (4 but 3 are voluntary and the other is something about the brakes and how to service them) 2004 BMW's have 1 or 2 not a big deal Didn't go into other makes but thats a good website, noticed that it doesn't link to the individual cars data so you'll have to take my word or search for yourself.....explorers suck imo |

More Explorers are produced, hence more possible problems. How about comparing it to a comparable vehicle instead of BMW and Mercedes?
