How can people live in the LA area?

This place is cool to visit but there are too many fucking people here.

LA and NYC....You can have them both.

Oh well...At least the weather is warm and not humid.

Rules to live by if in LA.

At least it applies well for me.

1) Work close to where you live or out of your house. That will save you an hour to 3 hours of frustration out of your day and drive time. L.A. rush hour is the worst.

2) If you live in the Valley, you must have a swimming pool / jacuzzi. Too fucking hot in the summer, need a quick cooling off like the pool. Jacuzzi's should be utilized nighly, every night during the year, except when it rains.

3) Only eat sushi in good sushi restaurants.

4) Don't honk your horn while in bad traffic. That's an east coast thing. Causes road rage and drive by shootings in L.A..

5) Take another hit...

6) Utilize the networking potential of having so many webmasters and adult companies located there.

7) Don't raise kids there. That's when it's time to move, once they hit schooling years.

8) Don't show up to D$'s house unannounced.

9) L.A. is still better then most places in the U.S. Still beats Cleveland.

10) It's less then a 2 hour drive from San Diego!

1) Done

2) Check

3) Just got back

4) That's why I pack heat.

5) Drugs are bad.

6) For sure

7) Ain't got none anyway.

8) Fine....I can take a hint.

9) Obviously you have recently followed rule # 5

10) True dat.

I was kiddin' about the unannouced rule.

I did say, AaronM is the one allowed to break that rule since he's so beautiful.

Not Juicy beautiful, but nice....

nice...

Its much nicer when you work from home. The weather and good drugs is what keeps me here though. And the music scene.

I just visited a friend in LA and he told me that to take his boat to the lake he has to make a reservation a month ahead of time. I was thinking next he'll have to make reservations just to go grocery shopping.

I lived there for 16 years.

In the 80's it was still pretty good, but with more and more immigrants flocking in it began to feel like you weren't even in the United States anymore when traveling through some parts of the city.

And the air pollution is horrible. Health experts have said if you live there your entire life its like being a smoker on your lungs.

If was about to be executed I'd want one of those... I'd rather get killed by a 10 Pound Burger with 10 slices of cheese than the Chair.
