are there any others up and running? paypal must own www.x.com because it redirects to their main page

what does a 1chr domain name go for anyway?

I think there are a few I think they were only registerable for a short window and then domains where limited to 2 chars min? but ones that were registerred can be renewed

i heard that renewing one letter domains wont be allowed anymore, just like registering already expired 1 letter domains

As far as I know, 1 letter com/net domains can be renewed however if/when they drop, they cannot be registered again.

No, x.com was a banking site. I had an account there.

They were bought out by paypal and integrated.

Its cool cause they both launched about the same time and gave those $5 signup bonus.

Yes back then paypal.com and x.com paid those wonderfull 5.00 per signup. It was a big time deal when combined with ebay.com made some serious bank.
