What's a good laptop under $1200?
I'm looking for a relatively cheap (yet new, and not shit quality) laptop for when I'm on the road, as my other one's being sent to my daughter for University
 . Can anyone recommend one, or where I should look for one?

Do youself a favor and go buy a refurbished or close-out Fujitsu lifebook.

www.tigerdirect.com I would stay away from used sonys. Had a sony it got hotter than hell and then one day died.
