Can anyone help a newbie?
Can anyone u guys help out a new webmaster who just want to make a few bucks in telling him what works best and where can he gat the traffic he needs to setup a fairly modest web site (any tgp links welcomed)

Wow, that's a pretty tall order lol. I think it would help if you listed what you already know...any previous experience, HTML, different ways of marketing, etc. If you are a true newbie, I would suggest some of the newbie boards like Netpond's and the like. If you need to know how to script, try places like www.weborverdrive.com or a great one for it's simplicity in analzone.com. Really everything you need to know is out there....reasearch my man, research. If you have specific questions, I would be more than willing to help when I can. Well, i am s scripter (php/mysql) but in this bussiness (adult webmastering) i'am a newbie. I just don't seem to get any traffic from tgp's. I wanted to get listed at the hun (i heard he is one thje best) with a gallery and nothin'. Please take a look at it and tell me waht u think. http://www.terra.es/personal6/gigikent1999/gallery1.htm

it can take weeks to get listed on thehun.net as he gets a lot of submissions.
Try the smaller TGP sites around 30-100k/day They're always happy to receive quality galleries. |

Hey, Well the first thing that I would have to say, is that I'm on DSL and your page loaded very slowly. Could be just on my end though. Have you compressed all that you can?
As far as the Hun goes. Everybody has an opinion about it and it runs the gamut. Search this board (and others) for what you are looking for. I can tell you this if you are accepted..be ready for alot of traffic. Whether it is productive or not is a different story. It is a TGP afterall. Some do well..some don't. You might want to try a free host like www.ligtningfree.com so you don't get killed in bandwidth charges. I seem to remember Lightning and The Hun getting along well. My best advice...hit all of the adult webmaster resource sites. You will learn all you need to know. Any other specific questions post them here...I just think it would be really hard for any of us to give you a full tutorial, Just WAYYYYY too much info. |
