It's also a fact that the worldwide newsmedia reported he was fishing there as soon as she was reported missing. No big leap of logic to reasonably presume that if it *was* someone else, they could dump the body there and pin it on peterson in a pinch.

I'm not saying thats what happened, I'm saying that is reasonable doubt. There is too much doubt in this case still.. Tons and Tons of it. They need some proof so this guy doesnt walk if he's guilty.

Anyway, you're missing the picture if you think death is the harshest punishment. When someone is terminally ill and in pain, we refer to death as an "end to suffering".

He doesnt need to die if he's guilty, he needs to suffer. A long long life, full of suffering to be more exact

It's a purely circumstantial case so it can go either way. It's a shame, I wish there was more evidence. I think he is involved in the murders but without enough evidence or reasonable doubt we can't put him away.

you can't bring back something that never was, and CA never had the electric chair

and there are tons of things more precious than a woman about to give birth to her first child
