FlaskMPEG & Vegas Video Pros, quick question...
Anyone know why my avi's are coming out with the audio a fraction off?
I rip the dvd with FlaskMPEG, then when i load it into Vegas, the audio is not synched with the lips/etc.... The first part of the avi will be fine, but later into the clip its like watching a kung fu movie. sometimes a couple seconds off. It's a real pain in the ass adjusting the tracks when this happens. Anyone know why??? ps. Not even sure if anyone's going to click on this damn thread. Any adult webmasters out there tonight? |

Here's the way I encode my stuff.
Get virtualDub - strip out the audio stream to a WAV file and then re-encode with the same, giving the audio WAV as an external file to merge. FPS should be 29.97 NSTC if it gives you an option for the most part. Check out doom9.net or vcdhelp.com for some nice tutorials for encoding and such.

Thanks guys...
doom9 etc seem to be a little too advanced for me. i dont understand half of the shit i read on there. i agree, that is the appropriate place for this type of question. seems i get things explained in lehman's terms here. |
