no if he delivers the work today he is not a scammer and i will put it down to him just being majorly business

Has he disappeared completely? Or has he just decided the job did not pay as well as he thought and thinks he's done his end?

dude, get serious. if a designer neither delivers the work you paid for, nor contacts you to tell you what's up, he's an asshole! i work with a designer who had a horrible tragedy in his family, but after the funeral - in another country, i might add - he got back to work.

two MONTHS?!?!? come on - even if he did suddenly show up with your order, he still put your ordered and paid-for job on hold for someone else's work or pure laziness once he was paid. even if he has that much drama in his life, you don't - your money should have been refunded. that is not the type of person to do business with.

Actually that's true....when I contract work with new people I factor in family emergency time =) Of course the people who suprise me and get shit done quickly get a ton of repeat business from me
