As a site owner you don't have to partner with someone. Assuming the person who has the idea produces the content. You pay this person/group to produce the content and maybe a small percetage of the site sales as long as they shoot the site.

I pay 1k for ideas and do it myself, partners are designed to take a bite out of your life and peace of mind

Read again. I agree with you. If i had a great idea for a site and could produce it, taking it to a site owner would be a possible step in the right direction for an idea to become a reality. I'd get paid to produce the content and the site owner would be responible for making the site successful.

I think its because the stress of actually being able to implement the idea and having to really think about the logistics of the project, impede your creativity

I don't have just ideas, but visions of revshare domination. I've been told it's not possible to compete with the big boys. I say bullshit. Enough money to shoot enough of the right content certainly leaves the possibility of a huge successful site.

I figure once I start shooting four days a week and have 50k set aside then I'll feel that i've earned a chance to sit down with someone who has money and experience in this buisness.
