what do i say to my designer?

it doesnt look good.. i havent paid him yet, and hes still working on it
but its been like 5 days for a 1 day project and it took him an entire day to make that little icon beside the first post..

As has been said before the header is good, but the rest is frankly horrid.

I'd dump the designer, pay a small fee for their time, and get a real blog designer.

I'd go with these guys.

Its not terrible. I would add some spacing between the columns, perhaps make the side ones smaller width-wise. Make the pink background on the two sides a little lighter.
