You hit it on the head. What was once a definitive luxury item is commonplace. Also there are so many Boxsters on the road that Porsche's are ho-hum.

Near my place on Maui you can rent 911, Hummer Harley whatever so it's no big deal at all.

LOL, and you have to think twice about buying that one? Fuck that's drop dead gorgeous the way they customized the interior. Just go and get it.

You only live once Q.

Plus, a car like that you can easily sell if you get sick of it at least.

yeah, it's a beauty no doubt... i don't know.

:Graucho

That is an impressive sports car! :thumbsup

Firehorse 08-07-2004 07:34 PM

Ferrari is for the pure sports car enthusiast! :thumbsup

Daymare 08-07-2004 07:47 PM

you only live once, and if you have millions invested + over 1 mill 'in the bank' why not rent a ferrari from one of those luxury rental places for a week and try it out. Would cost ya 5k or so I imagine, but at least you'd know if you liked the car.

Good idea?

TrafficBuyers 08-07-2004 08:16 PM

Hi quiet,

I'll sell you mine for the Right Price :thumbsup

for everyday or a sunday car?

KRL 08-07-2004 08:30 PM

In reference to a few posts above. There is nothing wrong at all with buying a pre-owned exotic sports car. Its actually a smarter way to go then paying retail on a brand new one and sometimes a premium on top of that.

Some of you guys are so into what people think. Fuck that bs.
A used $200,000 car is still 7 times the price of a regular new car.

Learn to be secure with your wealth and not have to flaunt it to prove who you are so much. Nobody cares trust me.

The bottom line is being a smart and shrewd buyer on everything you acquire when you are wealthy. Otherwise people will take advantage of you and you'll be overpaying like a shmuck.

the only vehicle i would buy that wasn't 4 years old would be a bike.

buying a new car is like having a bank account with diarrhea. you're just flushing money down the hole.

tranza 08-07-2004 08:44 PM

makefuckingmoney 08-07-2004 08:56 PM

Wrong color. Black, red, or almost any color other than that one.

Ferrari over Porsche any day.

pxxx 08-07-2004 11:20 PM

The Ferrari 360 spider will make your day, go for it.:thumbsup

Semi-Retired-Dave 08-08-2004 12:49 AM

360 End of story, trust me on this one.
If you need to come over and test drive one, let me know.

pxxx 08-08-2004 01:03 AM

Both of them are actually nice so it wouldnt really matter which one you get.

zzgundamnzz 08-08-2004 01:14 AM

Don't get a 911 Cabriolet...

If you can afford a Ferrari get the damn 911 GT2...

:Graucho

Nice looking car :thumbsup

TrafficBuyers 08-08-2004 09:41 AM

Ferrari turns more heads and gets more attention. Porsche is faster better performing and is more of a daily driver.

Depends what you are looking for.

badmunchkin 08-08-2004 09:55 AM

I'd get the Lamborghini Gallardo over either one.
