Hi I'm new to GFY
Hi there. I've been lurking for a few weeks, taking in all the info and drama from the various boards here, and I thought it was high time to introduce myself. I've been (and continue to be) a mainstream developer, working almost a decade in the medical, drug, healthcare and retail industries doing database administration and java / php / C freelancing. I didn't get interested in the adult world to make a quick buck as it seems a lot of other people do.

It's been fun for me to slowly build a few sites and learn as much as I can. Go, traffic, go. The real interest is that the adult world seems one of the best places to test marketing techniques and technical solutions that otherwise would take a lot longer to see results with. There is always a use for novel solutions given the volume and disparity of traffic sources, data and surrounding circumstances involved. Not to mention the turnaround time between idea, execution, and results is astoundingly fast in this industry. The customer(s) truly do decide, and in short order. On the flip side, short seems also the time it takes to dilute a concept or design.

Anyhow, here I am, and here I'll stay, and I'm happy to say that today I'll GO FUCK MYSELF!

Oh and.. Woot. First two sales last night!
