I have a mechanical background, and could certainly pull this off, but what do you think?

I'd like to get one of these chairs, used for pro race car drivers, and modify it, by adding a bas and mounting it on a rocking mechanism so it can lean back.

I want to use it as my office chair. I think it would fit me like a glove. It's kinda like when you go to MagicMountain and get on a ride that has a seat that feels like it was form fitted against your body.

Not sure if it would be confy after long sittings. You would have to add some extra cusion.

I dunno, I think the rear is too low on it... and it would end up giving you alot of strain on the front end...

I had a chair sort of like that.... and it would end up hurting my wrists alot more than normal, due to the strain of beng lower than normal.

Great idea tho, let us know if it pans out
