Is this the end of free hosts? I know normal hosts are exempt, but normal hosts also know who they're dealing with and are billing those people. Anyone can sign up with a free host in seconds anonymously and theres no way for the govt to track shit. I'm assuming the US wont go for that?

There obviously are / will be some additional measures freehosts SHOULD take before handing out accounts... nothing is truly anonymous.
That said, nowhere in the proposed changes does it differentiate paid hosting from free hosting. ![]() |
