The paper, has an obligation to make sure that its headlines are properly presented. If it doesn't, it could run the risk of being sued for anything.

I do not believe for one minute that the GOP had anything to do with the paper's decision to sue moore. I think the paper's lawyers had more to do with that decision.

As far as arguing who's the bigger liar, bush or moore, its a moot (did I spell that right?) point.

GWB is the current president of the united states. You don't have to like the guy, but as president, he does deserve a little respect.

The 9/11 commission, and several other senate hearings (With both Democrats and Republicans on them) have found that there was no wrong doing on the part of the government. If you don't believe me, look at the fucking reports.

Flat out calling Bush, Cheny, Rumsfeld, Rice or any of the others liars is flat out wrong. If they were, the Bi-partisian panels would have said so, and they would be facing impeachment and other hearings, but they aren't.

Get over it, move on, focus on getting your guy elected instead. Its a better way to get a shift in power.

In theory this would be true. In practice the republicans who control the legislative branch have zero interest in saying or doing anything slightly critital of Bush.

How about an example.

When Clinton was in office the republicans held a congressional hearing with over 140 hours of testimony over concers that the Clinton White House misused their greeting card list.

How many hours of testimony in congress have there been concerning the prison scandle in Iraq? Five.

No one ever does. They just jump to conclusions and give their own ignorant opinions.

I would argue that since GWB *IS* the president of the united states, he MUST be held to the absolute highest possible standards of credibility. Michael Moore is a film maker! LOL. There is no possible comparison, and it makes no sense to try.

The 9/11 panel is an independent commision. Not a real legislative body whatsoever.

Dont forget, GWB fought the formation of any commission into 9/11. The families of the victims formed it.

The reason GWB hasnt been held to the fire is because he know's his party has the upper hand all throughout all three branches of the government.

I dunno about the lawsuit itself. I'm sure tons of people have checked into it. If it was a headline on page 3 over a letter to the editor and it was portrayed as a front page headline, well it seems deceptive. And who really cared besides the paper?
