However since most countries no longer maintain a huge military force, most provided money and were in supporting roles. The "all alone" just doesn't cut it. We have friends from other countries die side-by-side with our troops. Their death should not be for nothing, most troops over there know what they are trying to accomplish, I talk to some everyday. Bring freedom to a people who have been BRUTALLY oppressed for decades, give hope to children, and most importantly spread democracy in a region full of dictators and oppressive regimes.
