Well..town-"home" owner that is. had to cancel my trip to meet up with Sleazy and fly home and finally close the deal. it's nothing spectacular, but for my first place of ownership I am proud of myself.

3 stories and a lot of potential, this is gonna be a fun project

It'll look better once I put some furniture in it, heh

I like it! Congrats. One tip, get rid of the carpet. Put some floating floor or even a lighter low pile carpet in.

Heh, when the rose carpet wears out I plan to rip it out and put some hardwood down

awesome. i tore up some carpet here and am in process or adding all new flooring. Was dead set to get rustic birch but the prices of a new subfloor and teh wood together made me go with floating floor instead.

Under the carpet is old oak hardwood, could easily be refinished, but my gf is pregnant and we don't want the sanding dust all over the place anyways. Some parts of the floor were lifting so they repaired it with plywood, so to make a long story short. we are using the existing hardwood and such as a subfloor as there is no subfloor under the hardwood.
