Search Engine traffic opposed to TGP traffic and other types

now, im very aware of the difference in potency of SE traffic as opposed to TGP traffic and other types of traffic but WHY exactly does SE traffic work sooooo much better? Does anyone have a logical theory for this? Also, is TGP traffic just a hybrid of toplist, linklist, SE, etc... traffic?
who can slap a good TRAFFIC QUALITY lesson down here>???

Most the guys that are searching for porn on SE's are newbies. Free porn is hard to find on the SE's, so they're getting the idea that buying is the way to go.

That's my theory.

Warphead is on the right track. When a newbie first gets his puter online and starts looking for porn, (like we all did at 1 point) he doesnt know any sites to get it at like jjj, Totally Thumbs TGp, Hun, Adult Buffet, Boneprone..etc...
So he goes to a se like google or Yahoo, or another, and types in ..Pussy, tits, ass or whatever...
Then since he is still unfamiliar with all the free sites, he is more apt to pull out the credit card to buy more..

Remember ALL traffic is good traffic, theres just different ways to convert it all.

Well this is my opinion.. Hope it sheds a little "Lightning" on the subject..

Not to mention that the BACK button takes them to a page with a thousand other Thumbnail page links when in TGP. Good TGPs are clean. Surfers know every link they click on will have in it what the description says. So they keep on surfing... Search Engine results are not so specific. You might wind up anywhere, so surfers are likely to stick around if they find something they like, and like he said - they will be more apt to pay.

thanks for your quick responses people.

I am not out to get SE traffic, my days of that are long gone!!! Remember back in the day when you could get #1 listing on Infoseek? That was nice!

anyhow, i just want a detailed explanation why the SE traffic buys more. I dont think they are newbies i just think they dont know about TGPS. The TGP traffic are PROS.

Im still listening if anyone has an interested addition for this topic!

tnx again all!!!

Just a stray thought... sooner or later SE traffic won't even be worth converting. The people that want online will run out (all be on) and the kids turning 18 won't have cc's. As fast as the US is getting hooked up... I have wondered how many more years the SE will be worth bothering with. Hope that makes sense, have alot of new noise in the background and the brain hasn't acclimated yet. <G>

i disagree with whoever said SE traffic is people who just got computers. So gemini, this makes your case irrelevant. kids under 18 have never had cc's anyhow... .so nothings changed there either

The SE traffic is definitely starting to go downhill quickly, that is one of the reasons I have started to work on LL and TGP traffic in the last few months. Our SE stuff still brings in the revenue, but the TGP traffic is starting to look promising, especially since bandwidth is dirt fucking cheap I really think the one's that are going to be making the money long term are those that craft pages that are tuned for conversion. I see so many people out there just throwing bandwidth at a page, and not really understanding why a person clicks or doesn't click. There is a science to it, and unfortunately just like getting listed in the SE it changes from week to week

It does Unriz3n. I found that using www.wordtracker.com and run their test program and try to find some 'target' niches. word combos you don't have 50,000 other sites competing, then build a site around that phrase, then have sponsors that target that phrase.

I did that recently with Alta Vista, and it worked. Unfortunately, I didn't pick a phrase that alot of people search on.... lol.

I get a few though each day.

You did exactly that, your site's URL is adult clips, and the title is adultclips, and it is a TGP so you have a lot of links pointing to you, and you get a lot of hits....Good Job!!! You found a good keyword phrase and exploited it.

Now why can't I find a really good one and get at the top with that like you did?
