Bandwidth
How much Bandwidth do you need if you want to put movies from 2mb 5mb on your page? The hosting cumpony said I should change from 6gigs to 25Gigs a month, is that good or not? I'm not sure how many visitors that page gets, it's behind a AVS

Markvh, it'd be nice to know how much traffic is going there? but since you don't know I'd go with 25gigs/month - You wouldn't want to get behind and have to pay a large over usage charge.

Lets say I upload a file of 5mb and 100 people downloads it every day, will 25Gigs be enough?

for just the traffic on the movie, if it is 5MB in size and 100 people get it, that would be:
5mb x 100hits x 30 days = 15GB of traffic Remember that is only for the movie it's self! Tim |
