Just set up account with Host on Fly(HOF.com) Looks really great...
They have 2 programs Click x (sign up with there sponser,earn cash - bandwith charges = balance payment) Banners Pop ups or Splash........(what is this?) Now which prog should I use? Is this a reliable free host? Host on Fly offers: 100Mb of Data Space (and more) Level 2 Domain Support Level 3 Sub-domain Allocation Fully Functional FTP Access CGI Programming (C, Perl, PHP) MySQL Database Access Video/Audio Supported SSI (server side include) Telnet access (Unix shell) .htaccess Server Configuration Directories Password Protector Anti-hotlinking Option Detailed Site's Statistics Unlimited Mail Boxes These guys are out of switzerland.. Just wanted to hear the (wise ones!) thoughts and concerns, approval, etc.. 5 bucks a gig?!?!? OUCH. Sounds suspicious. The whole deal sounds odd. You'd have to be humping serious traffic as well as praying the surfers clicked on them as well as you!
Go to http://www.lightningfree.com and sign up. You get the same banners on your pages but he isn't going to scam you on BW charges since there are NONE.  Yell him Gem* sent you. Oh wait, he'll read it here! Seriously go there and forget the HOF. |
