There are some songs i enjoy but overall i thing bands that make music with instruments are more talented rather then just rap on and on about how much money and cars they have..it gets old

yea, it's totally played out now - well, ok, I always hated it. But now it's just old - same old shit. Time for some new music to come and take hold - hopefully another form of rock. But MTV's gotta move on first - kids are like mindless sheep who buy into whatever mtv plays

All the mainstream rap on MTV sucks! All they talk about is who has more money and how many girls they have sucking their dicks! The best stuff is underground, cats who have real skills and smooth beats. Dilated Peoples, NAS, De La Soul and more...that is the good shit!

i will tell you this though, mainstream "rock" nowadays is WAY worse....out of tune vocals seem to be the trend...if you can't sing you should not have a mic

All that hippity hoppity stuff needs to be stopped. Give me some good ol rock n roll like Creedence Clearwater Revival, Steppenwolf or Neil Diamond even. That darned Jay Z, Kanye West and P. Diddle can't really be popular doing that kind of stuff... are they?

Rap wouldn't suck so much if rappers stopped doing the following:

1. Always talking about how tough they are.

2. Always talking about how much money they have.

3. Always talking about how many girls they get.

Those topics have been covered. Try being creative mmkay?

For an example of everything that is wrong with rap, watch this video: http://www.muchosucko.com/video-yougotbeef.html

WRONG WRONG WRONG AND WRONG.

Rap wouldn't suck so much if:

1.) White suburban kids stopped supporting this form of Samboism

2.) If Commercial Rappers were allowed to speak their minds.

3.) If Rap wasn't designed to keep the artist in dept

There is still a strong hip hop scene but it's completely seperated from your MTV version of what hip hop is.

and yes what you hear on mtv is not what the rappers actually want to rap about, its just what the record lables will approve. Thats why underground is so much better. Not to mention the rappers make a hell of alot more if they stay underground since they get to keep all the money from cd sales (besides the $0.50 to make the cd with the case and printing)

think it's crap /// more like KNOW it's crap!

Look at how it is corrupting our youth. 12 year old girls walking around looking like sluts and talking like fucking rappers. 13 year old boys chasing them around playgrounds calling them sluts and whores and bitches and sexually harassing them cause they think that they are little rappers. Hello. Time for parents to start fucking rearing their children right... oh wait, these hoochie mamas listen to the fucking shit themselves. That music is not something children should be exposed to. it's worse than drugs I swear.

I wouldn't blame rap (or any other music) for kids stupid behaviour. Kids are stupid and impressionable. If it wasn't rap it would be something else.

In my opinion Rap should not be classed as music.
Lets face it if the so called rappers had any vocal talent they would not be doing rap.
And to think we have Aerosmith to thanks for this crap.

I pity the kids growing up and force-feed this shit on a daily basis.

There has never been anything with as much influence to kids ever as rap has in the history of human beings. It's fucking garbage. It teaches them to be violent, to be sexual predators and to have zero self and outward respect.

Yes, I remember that, but I still wouldn't blame Aerosmith for what rap has become.
