Today I saw her, and I can't stop thinking about the time's we had now. And don't know if I should try to get her back, do you think it would be worth it?

I left my last girl in November... she met someone new in February and is happy with him still.

I feel bad, and I left her on the pretence "you deserve to be more happy than what I can make you." and 4 months later, she found someone who made her happier.

It hurts to see her and she doesn't talk about him, because she knows.....

But in my case, it's for the best. I did what was best for her.

Your situation is different but the desire should be the same.... do what's best for her. If you can make her happy and not be the "asshole" you say you were, then sure... if not... then... well....

i just found a scrapbook my X made for me about 4-5 years ago (we have been apart for about 2 years) that i had totally forgot about...

that said at the end... "no matter what happens we will fill the scrapbook with our lives and live and love as always"...

i miss this girl, loveeee this girl, we had it rough, saw the same angles and were truly "meant" to be together" but eventually broke up for stupid bullshit reasons so there was never any solid closure on it.

but now she's been dating someone for about 2 years, i just dumped a girl about 7 months ago that i dated for about a year, but still have always thought of that "x" daily, even when dating the other girl..


I'd say go for it man, thats what i tell myself but outta respect for the dude she is with I"ll lay off. He's the lucky one now.... but i may start fillin that book up and FEDEX it to her someday soon, just to "do what she wrote" ;-).

It takes balls and humility to go back to something you once fucked up, but if you turn around for the right reasons then i would say it's the only thing to do...

I'm a quick trigger at some things and don't get anybody's full stories, but now I know what went on from a few different people, her ex was helping her get a job around my area. But my roommates told me they were kissing and hugging and all but then I find out from some other friends that they weren't they were just walking to a job interview.

Well it was all great times, but I over reacted that one time and just kicked her out with out getting the whole story from anybody just what I thought. I got the story from people that didn't like her.

I was enguaged and broke up with the girl then got back together, WE WERE NOT THE SAME, we worked it out but the relationship ended again very dramticly that time. Since then we have talked and then decided to not talk and then off and on again. We both care for each other deeply but she has a lot of fear and growing up to do, sweet girl and I thank her for protecting me from herself. It is nice to know no matter where I am or what I do there is a wonderful person who loves me, that is enough. You can try it man, but be ready for lots of communication to get over the past, good luck no matter what you do.

I just recently broke up with my ex (Monday). We both still love each other, and was a very clean break up. We just decided that we fight too much and wanted to stop it and thought breaking up was the only way. The fights were nothing major, but consumed our minds and affected all the other aspects of our lives negatively. I still love her very much, she says she still loves me.

The first couple of days after the break up were really hard. My friends had to literally drag me out of bed, lol. It's only been 3 days and I feel so much better. I am also trying to decide whether or not to get back together. I'm going to give it about a month before I consider getting back together or not.

The hardest part is picturing her with someone else. Someone else's arms around her instead of mine etc. I've already had five girls try to "get with me" since the breakup, but I had to decline because I would still feel like I'm cheating on her.
