Pat Roach RIP
Died a few days ago.
He was i the great Stanly Kubrek movie, A Clockwork Orange. He playd a bouncer at the "Milk Bar" A great guy, born in Birmingham, England. |

I remember him first as a wrestler, back in the 60's. He was among several wrestlers who often used my local pub as a stop-off on their way back from wrestling in Yarmouth: a very soft-spoken, genuinely nice man.
As well as the films you mentioned, he was in Conan the Destroyer, the Indiana Jones series, and one of the Bond movies. A lot of British TV fans are going to remember him from Auf Wiedersehen, Pet. |
