Ah, Hank, you just reminded me of the humidity in Chicago when we drove through one July. Now THAT was horrid. Nearly as bad as New Orleans, but without the nice cypress trees.

That's right. 68% humidity right now and 74F.

Guh.

I think it's time to move my work to the laptop and camp out on the deck inside my magic circle of citronella candles.
I know what you mean. It's like the midwest in summer here in Seattle. I've got air conditioning so I'm lucky..it's almost 2am and I still have it blasting away. REALLY strange weather we're having.

Supposed to hit 95 or higher by Friday.

Oh don't give me that. Everyone in Phoenix has a/c and besides, it's a dry heat. I love Az when it's 80-95F.. such beautiful days.

I live in Baton Rouge about 45 minutes from New Orleans. Last Friday was the hottest day in 30 years they said. Miserable out here lately. *sigh*

I feel your pain. I'm in Phoenix as well. Not only is it 108, its monsoon time, so it jacks the humidity up to 45%-65%. Its pure death here. My ac runs almost all day, and I have a $400 a month electric bill.

Someone invite me to their place thats cool so I can get out of hells armpit.

It's not the greatest weather here either with all these fires going. Ash is everywhere and it's hard to breathe. Here's a pic from yesterday near my house...

The only thing I hate more than heat is humidity.

And it cools off at night here in So Cal. Nothing better than cool desert nights in the summertime.

And no crazy ac bills here either.

Me, I prefer it dry and about 35-38 c with a light wind.

I lived in Costa Rica for 10 months

There were some days where it was 35c or so with something retarded like 90% humidity after a huge rain storm.

I ruined a mouse because the sweat poured down my arm into the case of the mouse!

Also, my computer eventually died when the particle board soaked up the water in the air and warped

It was pretty hot yesterday, but nice and chilly today. This is the kind of weather I like though

Now *that* is hardcore humidity! So you're saying there's a reason those countries aren't technological hotbeds?
