Anyone getting AWFUL noises after downloading an MP3 song?

It's happening all the time to me with P2P programs... i download an MP3 and when i play it, somewhere in the song i get awful distorted noises. Anyone getting this too?

P2P is crap compared what it used to be.
I guess i will have to pay again

had that a lot. thats why I started buying music again. Fuck it, its cheap anyways.

Yes, it happens to me too once in a while ... I guess the file is corrupt. I have to delete that mp3 file, since it's no good anyway ...

It's the music industry paying people to flood p2p with corrupted files...they allow you to listen to enough to get a taste...something they learned from the drug dealers I guess ;)

i dont know if it's a conspiracy from the record companies but i always thought it was something along those lines...

There is a program called MP3 Shield than detects corrupted mp3 when you´re downloading them from Kazaa.

Its pretty usefull

I believe sometimes these 'noises' or 'signals' are added on purpose... to try to damage your speakers or headphones.
I'm quite serious about this - when played at very high volume some 'unnatural' signals may just do this (burning tweeters etc), especially with lower price units.

Don't know if this is done by record industry or their supporters or whoever...

The RIAA has been doing this for a long time guys lol. I got a buddy at a colo center where the RIAA runs about 200 servers that do nothing but push debunk mp3 files into p2p services 24/7.
