mutt from what i recall (and this was a few years ago lol) the WIPOD fees were something along the lines of $1000 and the lawyers fees were almost $3000 but in our case it was money well spent

basically it cost us less to go the legal route than what he wanted us to pay him for the domain name unfortunately when we told the guy it would be cheaper to start wipo proceedings he didnt beleive us so he found out the hard way

i just went to http://www.arb-forum.com/domains/index.asp
and it has the fees - if you only request a one many panel it's $1150, if you want a three man panel it's $2500. then there's the fees the lawyer charges to write up your complaint.

reading the UDRP definition of what a squatter is this guy would be smart to take $200 for the domain cuz it's a slam dunk.

Ari (Esqwire) is the second best (in other words a very good choice). However the known best within the little domain community is John Berryhill (http://www.johnberryhill.com). Disregard the design, as it's not his specialty. Domain disputes are.

Good Luck.

yeah as i say in our case the guy was trying to extort almost twice what it was going to cost us in legal fees so if he is asking for less than what its going to cost you for an attorney as much i hate to suggest it pay him off

if on the other hand h is asking more than legal costs i say fry the scumbag if he is deliberatly squatting a domain you have a legitamate interest in
