Need help with Charge backs???

I have a friend who I've watched go from a 7.00 an hour collector to running a multi million dollar collection agency in the last 10 years. He's now wanting to start on his own and he wants to start in porn.

He needs some accounts to get him started. He's very serious, an excellent collector and follows all the FDCPA rules.

He'll work on a contingency basis which he would discuss with you privately.

In speaking with him he feels that the porn industry has never been fully tapped as he's watched from the agency he's running that they do not put the skilled collectors on these types of accounts as they do with mainstream work. He's willing to give this his complete attention and make a name for himself by collecting your debt.

If you're interested and you feel this would benefit you, please contact me at webmaster at pornlooker dot com and I will put you in touch with him.

Remember you have NOTHING to lose since you're not paying anything and you're just giving his bad debt. If he can collect it for you, then he makes money.

Thanks!

Oh no doubt, if anyone can collect it....it would be him. By the way, he's the one who made the company a multi million dollar agency. =) Just thought I should throw that in there.

Is your freind purchasing these debts from site operators or just willing to take a percentage based on what is collected from the debtor?

From working in collections for 7+ years many moons ago there are a lot of debtors out there that are quite slick. Harassment issues, fradulent purchase claims and documentation requests to delay paying and then the attorney general complaints that just kill all contact with the debtors.

Also, the original credit cards would be looking for the same money anyway if the person skipped on paying the CC company bringing up double collection issues....

Nice idea however.....Just a lot of work to implement and manage it effectively.

He's willing to take a percentage on the debts, not buy them.

I'm sure it will be a lot of work, and yes some debtors are very smart and would simply send a cease and desist, attorney general complaints are doubtful if they did infact make the charge just because of what type of charge it is...that's just my opinion.

As far as harrassment goes, as long as you follow the FDCPA then you should not have any problems, and of course that all varies by state, and I can assure you...he knows the rules =)

The debtors should be someone you're just about POSITIVE made the charge...otherwise it obviously can't be collected. Porn is not a NEW area to him, since they've had webhouse accounts...but again the company never gave it the full attention and he feels there is a lot of uncollected money out there that can infact, be collected. I agree. =)

So what do all you people do with your charge backs, I'm curious?? Do you try to collect them yourself or do you just write them off?

Can he really do much? Theres no proof of the debt, so when its disputed he cant say oh heres proof. Plus the memberships are between $20-40, how much will he be collecting? Honestly I dont think its worth his time.

Okay let's think about this. Let's say he charges 30% (which honestly I have no clue how much he's going to charge) but anyway...if he collected four 40.00 accounts per hour he's making 48.00 an hour so how is that not worth your time?

only if you are doing it with high numbers

Its not liek someone just colelcts all the charge backs and sends it to your guy

more work invovled then you think .. so the company has to think is it worth the extra x amoutn of money a month loss or collect 60% of it

the industry does NOT like change.

Well high numbers is the ultimate goal. Let's say a site sent him 600 charge backs that they've accumulated and with big sites I don't think it's that hard...but I'm not sure. Now, we know he wont collect all those charge backs, but even recouping some of your money is better than nothing, right? It's money you would not have had, if you just take the loss. You know?

Now do you think it's worth taking say 60% over nothing? =)
